LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Led by a runner-up finish from third-year Panda
Madison Willan, the Pandas golf team placed second at the University of Lethbridge Invitational.
The Calgary Dinos captured both the men's and women's team titles, overcoming brutal wind conditions on Monday at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort.Â

The Golden Bears, thanks to a top finish from
Blake Roberts who placed fifth, finished in fourth on the men's side. The highlight of the day, however, went to
Ethan Couch, who aced the Par 3 12th, his first hole of the day.
As she did at the UofA Invitational, Calgary's Victoria Tse took the women's crown, beating Willan by six. Both Tse and Willan shot matching 83's in hard conditions in Round 2, with Willan entering the final round trailing by six.Â
Three other Pandas finished inside the top 10;
Jenna Sand (5th),
Sarah Davis (6th), and Cici Zhang (9th).Â
Shooting the third-lowest score on Monday with a 78, Roberts led the Bears with a total score of 151. Dino Sam Bratvoldt, who fired a sparkling three-under 68 on Sunday, followed it up with a 78 on Monday to take the individual title by three.Â
Ryan Hughes finished in sixth, just one shot behind final round playing companion Roberts, while Josh Guthrie also earned a top-10 result, placing 8th.Â
Next on the golf calendar is the University of Calgary Invitational, scheduled for September 25th and 26th at Bearspaw Golf Club.Â
