Putting forth one of his best performances in Evergreen & Gold, third-year Bears midfielder Jake Bosch has been named the Sherlock Holmes Athlete of the Week. 

Bosch was excellent in a 3-1 Alberta win over MacEwan, with every point critical in the Bears pursuit of a home playoff game. The veteran midfielder played all 90 minutes in Saturday's win, scoring his first goal of the season in the 29th minute. 

Bosch followed that up with an assist on Garry Onyejelem's game-winner in the 69th minute. He also added two shots, with his six points this season setting a new career high. 

The 5-1-6 Bears will finish their regular season this weekend, when they visit the division-leading Mount Royal Cougars, and Calgary Dinos.
