Going Pro! Pandas Basketball Alumni and All-Time Leading Rebounder
Claire Signatovich has officially signed her first pro contract. Signatovich will head to Germany for the 2025/26 season as she suits up for the
Falcons Bad Homburg Basketball Club of Division 2 Bundesliga.
Signatovich ended her varsity career in April as one of the most decorated Pandas of all-time. In five seasons at the University of Alberta, the engineering graduate was a five-time U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian, a three-time Canada West All-Star, three-time Canada West Defensive Player of the Year, and two-time U SPORTS Defensive Player of the Year.
She also helped the Pandas capture the 2023 Canada West Championship and a U SPORTS bronze medal that same season. She was also the recepient of the Kathlene Yetmen Trophy as Top Academic All-Canadian at the University of Alberta in 2024, and was the Pandas Basketball MVP in 2024/25.Â
The Winnipeg product ranks first in Pandas history in career defensive rounds (580), blocked shots (136), double-doubles (27), third in total rebounds (836), seventh in games played (73), and 15th in points (909).Â
