Mishynn Miller combined for 42 of the Pandas 65 points, as they cruised to a 25-point win over Winnipeg.
The win sees the Pandas improve to 10-0 this season. Alberta led for all but 25 seconds of Saturday's contest, holding the Wesmen to a 25% make percentage.
Palmer led Alberta with 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting, including three three-pointers, while adding four rebounds, two steals, and a block in 24 minutes. Jayden Tanner followed with 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting and five rebounds, scoring efficiently in transition and in the half court.
Mishynn Miller delivered one of the game's most complete performances, finishing with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals for a double-double. McKinley Penninga added seven points and three rebounds off the bench, and Morgan Harris contributed five points, four rebounds, and three steals.
Winnipeg was paced by Jazmin Birch, who scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Jennifer Edwards added seven points.
First Quarter
Both teams opened slowly, combining for just five field goals. Alberta struck first from the line with two free throws from Palmer at 8:16, but Winnipeg answered through Birch, who scored the Wesmen's first four points. A fast-break layup by Morgan Harris at 6:53, assisted by Palmer, gave the Pandas their first lead at 4–2. Tanner buried a jumper at 0:57 to restore a three-point edge before Winnipeg closed the quarter with a free throw to make it 11–9.
Second Quarter
The Pandas broke the game open with their strongest quarter. Palmer hit a three at 9:05, followed by a Tanner triple at 7:06. Alberta forced nine second-quarter turnovers, converting them into multiple fast-break chances. Tanner tipped in a rebound at 5:47 and again at 5:08, sparking a 16–2 run. Palmer's three at 2:25 extended the lead to 30–11, and she capped the half with another triple at 0:58, sending Alberta into the break ahead 34–15.
Third Quarter
Winnipeg briefly found rhythm as Kallon scored at 9:03, but Miller immediately responded with a layup at 8:40. A Harris three at 7:39 and a Tanner triple at 4:49 pushed the margin past 20. Easton-Ihediohanma added a three at 4:14, giving Alberta its largest lead of the game at 30 points (50–20).
Fourth Quarter
Alberta maintained control throughout the final frame. Miller scored inside at 9:08, and Palmer added a transition layup at 8:37. Penninga connected from deep at 3:04, and Jenna Karach added the final Pandas basket at 2:02 to close out the 65–40 victory.
Alberta's defence forced 27 Wesmen turnovers, outscoring Winnipeg 23–14 off giveaways and dominating the boards 49–33.
