Leading the U SPORTS No. 7 ranked Alberta Pandas to a quarter-final win over the Fraser Valley Cascades, Claire Signatovich has been named the Sherlock Holmes Athlete of the Week. 

Signatovich was dominant at both ends of the floor, as Alberta booked their spot in the semifinal with a 73-54 win over the Cascades. The third-year Panda forward finished one block and two assists shy of the first quadruple-double in Canada West history. Signatovich finished the game with a team-high 13 points, a game-high 16 rebounds, along with nine blocks and eight assists. 

In 21 conference and post-season games this season, Signatovich now has 14 double-doubles. 

Signatovich and the Pandas will now visit the top-seeded Saskatchewan Huskies on Saturday afternoon, with a spot in both the Canada West Final and 2023 U SPORTS Championship on the line.
