Following a career-best performance in Halifax, third-year Pandas long distance runner Olivia Cooper has been named the Sherlock Holmes Athlete of the Week. 

Cooper was able to overcome miserable Halifax weather conditions, earning an All-Canadian finish at the 2022 U SPORTS Championship. 

The Kinesiology, Sport, & Recreation student placed 10th, earning a second team U SPORTS All-Canadian finish. It's the highest career finish for Cooper at the national championship, and the highest a Panda has placed nationally since Lindsay Acheson also placed 10th in 2004. Cooper finished with a time of 29:31, just 1:12 behind the race winner. 

It marks the 7th ever All-Canadian finish for a Panda, and first since Karissa LePage in 2015.
