Scoring a combined 36 points in a weekend sweep of the Lethbridge Pronghorns, third-year Bears forward Adam Paige has been named the Sherlock Holmes Pubs Athlete of the Week.

Paige led the Bears with a game-high 19 points in Friday's 84-66 win, shooting 8/13 from their field, adding three rebounds, two blocks and one assist.  

The former Canada West Rookie of the Year added 17 points on Saturday, while also adding a team-high nine rebounds in 34 minutes on the floor. Paige scored eight of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, hitting a pair of clutch shots to secure the Bears 82-73 victory.

Paige and the 2-0 Bears will stay at home this weekend, as they welcome the 2-0 Mount Royal Cougars to Saville for games on Friday and Saturday night.
