Why did you come to the University of Alberta: 
The Golden Bears and Pandas Curling has always arguably been the most successful varsity curling program in the country. With campus being so close to home, and having one of the highest ranked Nursing Programs in the country it was a no-brainer for me that U of A was where I aspired to be!

Something Interesting about Selena Sturmay: 
I'm a Registered Nurse, currently working in pediatrics, and it is seriously the best job ever!

Why did you come to the University of Alberta: 
I wanted to compete for the Pandas at the University of Alberta because it was an opportunity to become part of a bigger community and meet new people while playing the sport that I am passionate about. Joining the Pandas Curling program was a way to further develop as an athlete, and learn from some very knowledgeable coaches. It has also challenged me to balance my time between my sport and academics and has been a large part in developing my work ethic.

Something Interesting about Abby Marks: 
I love camping, hiking, and being outdoors; especially in the mountains!

I really admired the athletes and the curling program that was established here, as well as the academic programs.

Why did you come to the University of Alberta: 
The University of Alberta has the most highly regarded curling program in North America along with a well regarded sciences program which are the two things I was looking for in a school.

Something Interesting about Paige Papley:
I started working in the pro shop of a golf course 4 years ago without ever having golfed before. I can't make jello.
