Story Lines:
- For the second-straight year, the Canada West Women's Volleyball Final Four will be held at Saville Centre.
- The Pandas are the defending Canada West Champions, and enter the weekend as the top-seeded team in the conference, and the No. 1 ranked team in U SPORTS.
- Alberta swept Winnipeg in the quarter-final to put themselves in position to host the Final Four.
- The Pandas beat the TRU WolfPack twice in conference play in late January, splitting two meetings with TWU in November. Alberta and UBC didn't play during the 2025/26 regular season.
- All four teams competing this weekend in Edmonton have already earned a berth at the 2026 U SPORTS Championship in Langley, hosted by the TWU Spartans.

- All eyes are on Golden Bears Track and Field, as they head to Winnipeg with national title-winning aspirations. The Golden Bears captured their 8th Canada West title two weeks ago in Saskatoon and are ranked #2 in the U SPORTS Top 10.
- The Bears captured five gold medals in Saskatoon, with Sander Sampson (weight throw), Tyler Sharpe (1000m), Ryder Rattee (600m & 300m), and the 4x400m relay team leading them to their first conference title since 2018.
- The Golden Bears only national title came in 2001.
- The Pandas placed second in Saskatoon, with Rachel Grenke (pole vault), and Olivia Cooper (1000m & 1500m) earning conference gold medals.Â
