- For the second-consecutive season, the Canada West Champion Pandas will head into the U SPORTS Championship as the No. 1 seed. The Pandas captured the 13th CW title in team history on Saturday at Saville Centre.
- The Pandas will open the 2026 Championship in Langley with a match against Montreal in the quarter-final. Montreal defeated the Pandas in the 2025 U SPORTS Semifinal in Winnipeg.
- The winner of Alberta vs Montreal will play the winner of UBC vs TWU in the first semifinal on Saturday.
- The Pandas are looking for their 8th U SPORTS Championship in team history, and first since 2007.

Story Lines:
- The Golden Bears and Pandas will head to Chilliwack on Sunday for the start of the spring golf season. UFV will host the Cascade Classic, featuring top schools from Canada West, NAIA, and NCAA for a two-day event.
- The Cascade Classic will be one of three spring events for Golden Bears and Pandas Golf, culminating in the 2026 Golf Canada University National Championships, set for mid-June in Quebec City.
- The Bears and Pandas will also compete in a match play event, May 10-12 at Crown Isle Golf Resort in Courtenay, BC.
