Ivan is going on his 7th year as lead coach of the Pandas Tennis Team. Ivan is a Venezuelan/Canadian tennis coach with international experience at all levels. He has worked with communities and government organizations to develop tennis programs and facilities. Ivan has worked as coach and physical trainer for several top National, ATP and WTA ranked players. With extensive coaching credentials, he is comfortable in many different roles which he approaches with professionalism and enthusiasm. For the last 10 years Ivan has been part of the coaching staff at the Saville Community Sports Centre. His impact on the success of the Pandas Tennis program is remarkable. Since 2016, the Pandas have won The University National Championship 4 times, 3 in a row. He has been given the University Female Coaching Excellence Award three times.
