EDMONTON - The Pandas Hockey team ended the regular season with arguably their best performance of the season, shutting out MacEwan 6-0 at Clare Drake Arena.Â

Ryann Perrett scored twice in the second period, including a power-play marker, finishing with eight shots to pace Alberta's attack. Jadynn Morden added two third-period power-play goals, extending her season total to 10.
Playmaking drove the result, with Holly Magnus recording four assists, while Annie King added three helpers. Abby Soyko chipped in two assists, and Sara Kazeil and Hayleigh Craig each contributed one.
In goal, Mackenzie Dojahn was perfect, stopping all 14 shots she faced to secure the shutout. MacEwan netminder Mikayla Christmann made 46 saves in a high-volume performance under sustained pressure.
The first period was defined by discipline and defensive structure. Alberta killed off back-to-back bodychecking minors to Chayse Melnyk and Riley Smith, limiting MacEwan's power play to minimal chances. The teams entered the first intermission scoreless.
Alberta broke through at 5:54 of the second period, when Brayden Stewart scored at even strength off a feed from Annie King and Holly Magnus to make it 1–0. The Pandas struck twice in 11 seconds midway through the frame. At 12:24, Ryann Perrett finished a setup from Sara Kazeil, and at 12:35, Natalie Kieser buried a chance created by Abby Soyko and Magnus, stretching the lead to 3–0.
On the power play at 18:08, Perrett scored again, converting a feed from Soyko and King to give Alberta a 4–0 cushion heading into the third.
The special teams dominance continued early in the final frame. After a bodychecking minor to Sasha Malenfant, Jadynn Morden struck on the power play at 3:16, assisted by Hayleigh Craig and Magnus. Later, following a head contact penalty to Allee Isley, Morden scored again at 16:50, finishing a setup from King and Magnus to complete the 6–0 result.
Alberta finished 3-for-5 on the power play, outshot MacEwan 52–14, and controlled all three periods in a comprehensive home victory.
