Set One
Alberta set the tone early, building separation behind aggressive serving from Shand and balanced side-out play. Shand and Sargent combined for eight kills in the set, while Cherewaty was a presence in the middle. The Golden Bears hit .387 in the opener and pulled away late with a 6–2 run to take control of the match.
Set Two
The WolfPack responded with their strongest frame, capitalizing on improved efficiency and reduced errors. Ibbetson found rhythm from the left side, and Howard delivered timely swings as TRU hit .500 in the set. Alberta stayed close behind Harris' service pressure, but a late WolfPack surge evened the match at one set apiece.
Set Three
The third set proved pivotal. With 10 tie scores, neither side found breathing room. Shand delivered multiple momentum swings from the end line, while Sargent closed rallies with high-hands finishes. At 24–24, a Shand ace followed by a Sargent kill sealed the set, swinging momentum firmly back to Alberta.
Set Four
Alberta carried that edge into the fourth. Cherewaty scored on quick sets to slow TRU's block, and Harris added another ace to stretch the lead mid-set. Thompson Rivers threatened late behind Ibbetson, but Alberta's block tightened, and Shand closed the match with his 18th kill.
