Story Lines:
- Entering Week 3 of their fall season, the Golden Bears and Pandas Golf program will host the 2025 UofA Invitational this weekend at Millwoods Golf Course.
- The Pandas, who captured the UofL Invitational to kick off the 2025 season, are led by third-year KSR student Kalee Seto. Seto won the individual title in Lethbridge for her fifth career win, following it up with a second place showing this past weekend in Calgary.
- The Pandas also won the UofL team title two weeks ago, before placing second to Calgary at their hosted event.
- The Bears are led by fourth-year science student Ethan Howes, who also won the UofL Individual title. As a team, the Bears have placed second to Calgary by a single shot in both events this fall.
- Howes and dual-sport Bear Kai Baerg (Golf/Tennis) placed in a tie for second in Calgary.
- The Golden Bears and Pandas will welcome competitors from Calgary, Lethbridge, and Regina.Â

- Looking for a bounce back performance after a pair of losses in B.C., Pandas Rugby returns to Foote Field for a clash against the Dinos.
- The Pandas have won six-straight against their provincial foes, including a 29-17 road win in late October.
- This will be the Pandas final home conference game before hosting the 2025 Canada West Championship at Foote Field (October 16/19)Â

- Alberta leads Canada West with 1,258 passing yards through four games but rank fifth with 373 rushing yards.
- The Bears have also allowed a conference-worst 926 rushing yards (231.5/game) this season.
- The Bears and 'Birds split their two meetings in 2024, including a 42-28 Bears win in Week 1 in Vancouver.
