  • Despite sitting a game behind UBC in the standings, one of Alberta's two wins was a 42-28 road victory over the Thunderbirds in Week 1.
  • The Golden Bears continue to lead Canada West, and rank fourth nationally, averaging 214.0 rushing yards per game.
  • 20223 Canada West MVP Matthew Peterson ranks third in Canada West, and sixth in Canada with 522 rush yards this season.
