EDMONTON - Jadynn Morden's goal with 5:08 remaining in the third stood us as the game-winner, as the Pandas Hockey team picked up their seventh-straight conference win. 

After allowing the game-tying goal midway through the third, Morden broke the deadlock with her eighth goal of the season. Morden now leads Canada West with eight goals in eight games, sitting third in CW with nine points. 

Izzy Lajoie also scored for the Pandas (7-1-0), her fourth goal of the season, with all four goals coming in the last four games. Sophomore Misty Rey stopped 21 of the 22 shots she faced to pick up her first win of the season. The Pandas outshot Calgary 38-22 in the win. 

Josie McLeod scored the lone Dinos (2-6-0) goal in the third. Gabriella Durante made 36 saves on Saturday, with her record this season falling to 1-6-0. 

12 of the Dinos 22 shots on the night came in the first period, as the teams played an entertaining opening frame. Rey and Durante stopped all 21 shots fired between the teams. 

Lajoie broke the scoreless deadlock halfway through the second, taking advantage of a 17-4 shot advantage for the homeside in the period. 

Despite mustering just six shots in the third, McLeod was able to sneak a shot past Rey, as the loose puck in the Pandas crease slowly trickled over the goal line. 

The tie was short lived, as Morden scored the game-winner off a perfect feed from Taylor Anker, who assisted on both Pandas goals. 

Alberta will be off next weekend, before returning to action on November 3rd against Saskatchewan. Calgary will also return to CW action on the 3rd, hosting Regina.
