For the first time since 2018, the Canada West Rugby 15s Championship will take place at Foote Field, as the Alberta Pandas welcome the top teams in the conference in late October.
The Canada West semifinals will be held on October 20th, while the gold and bronze medal games will take place on the 23rd in Edmonton.
Canada West unveiled their 15s schedule on Friday, which will see the Pandas play six conference games, two of which will take place on the University's South Campus. The 10-time CW champs will host the Lethbridge Pronghorns on September 10th to open their fall campaign, while also hosting Calgary on September 24th at Foote.
The Pandas will also visit Lethbridge (Sept. 17), Victoria (Sept. 29), UBC (Oct. 2), and Calgary (Oct. 15) this season. Alberta went 0-6 in conference play in 2021, but bounced back with an 8-8 record and third place finish in the Rugby 7s season.
The Victoria Vikes will host the 2022 U SPORTS Championship November 3rd to 6th.
